Last year, in early June, I was supposed to give a workshop on the witch wound with a fellow spiritual author. For this two-part workshop, my job was to guide participants into their own Akashic Records.
I’d never done this before, and most of me was convinced I wouldn’t be able to do it, let alone be good at it, but a very small part of me couldn’t wait to see what it would be like. To show people their Records and guide them through a set of questions to help them heal.
That very small part of me became very loud when the author I was going to do this with had to cancel. I’d expected to be relieved – I wouldn’t have to do the scary thing! – but I wasn’t. At all. It felt like a missed opportunity. A massive one.
It only took a few days for that very small part of me to convince me to do the meditation anyway, just not in that setting.
Since I hadn’t done anything like this before, I handpicked a couple of people who I trusted and knew to be spiritual enough to be my guinea pigs. Outwardly, I may try to channel my inner Pippi Longstocking (and yes, I know she never actually did say ‘I have never tried that before, so I think I should definitely be able to do that’, but still), but that doesn’t mean I actually feel that sentiment on the inside as well…
We set the date for 1 July. All throughout the meditation, I knew on a very deep level that this was it, that the trajectory of my career, my soul’s work, would change if this went well. And it did go well. Very well. Everyone managed to get into their Akashic Records through the meditation I’d created for that purpose specifically, and they all received some wonderful, and heavy, insights and advice on how to start healing this collective wound.
In that moment, I knew I needed to create a virtual meditation circle for creatives, where we’d tackle a different creative challenge each month and met in between meditations to continue the deep healing their Akashic Records visits would be setting in motion. This Akashic Creative Coaching meditation circle launched on 1 November, four months after my test run, and I was terrified once more that I was about to be proven not to be made for this work.
(Isn’t it funny the louder our fears get the more we start doing what we actually came here to do? I had my first in-person meditation circle last week and was rewarded with reliving each single instance of my life I’d been shamed for one thing or another by my peers and the adults around me. Hi-la-ri-ous.)
Of course, this first circle meditation – and the ones that followed – proved quite the opposite: apparently, I have a knack for creating safe spaces and guiding people through tough questions as they connect to their own Records. Besides, and this is actually the most important part, I love doing it. I love seeing the shifts in people, the growing understanding of themselves, the healing, what they’re learning from each other’s journeys, how it affects their creative work…
The gratitude I feel after each meditation and coaching call ends is immense. For being able to do the work, for pushing myself to start doing it, for the creatives who show up ready and committed to doing the hard work.
Needless to say, I wish I could help every single creative this way, and nothing makes me happier than seeing my little meditation circle expand with people ready to take their creativity seriously and do what needs to be done to get out of their own creative way.
Which is why I wanted to let you all know I’ll be increasing the fees for the meditation circle and the single tickets on 1 July. These new fees only apply to people who subscribe to the circle’s Substack after 1 July, so everyone who joins before then gets to enjoy the old fees.
To sum up what that means:
Until 1 July, it costs €25 per month to be part of the circle and have access to each live call, the replay archive, and the coaching calls. If you pick the annual price plan, you pay €269 per year (which is €22.42 per month). If you subscribe as a group of at least two, each one of you gets 25% off the fee.
From 1 July onwards, it’ll cost €55 per month to be part of the circle. The annual price plan goes up to €600 per year (which is €50 per month). Those who subscribe as a group will get 15% off the fee.
Again, these new fees only apply to new subscribers after 30 June, so if you’ve been on the fence about joining me every month, this might be the sign you’ve been looking for. And if you join now, there’s still time to do the replay of last week’s meditation on fears around success and join the next coaching call on 17 June.
I’ll still be selling single tickets to each meditation as well: these will go up from €25 to €35 as of 1 July, with the difference being you now get to keep the replay for life, instead of having access only for the next month.
