Loved this exercise. Got 5 of swords underneath, which makes sense, a very general sense of unease is difficult to unpack and I just try to move forward from it. 4 of wands on top - this is hilarious to me, as I have avoided celebrating myself and my achievements for years because I feel like a younger, naive version of me lived for that stuff and it was a false path. But it's become a pathology that I avoid celebrating anything now. So I guess some celebration is due. I do have a huge goal I'm about to meet at the end of the month, so I guess I am owed that celebration soon :)
What I love about the 4 of Wands it that it's specifically about celebrating when the end is nowhere in sight yet. It's only the 4th of 10 cards, after all. But it's what keeps us going when the going gets tough, so a little acknowledgement of how far we've come already and how brilliant that is, is the least we can do for ourselves ;) Good luck on your huge goal!
OMG that makes so much sense! Tomorrow is just my submission deadline, I won't actually hear back if I've been successful for months. But all the hard work itself (over a year of preparing this submission) needs to be celebrated too, and not held off for some distant date which may never eventuate. So I will. Already booked the celebration plans into my calendar :)
